We're going to OH!

I know.... it has been a while since my last post, but somehow things got really busy, really fast.

Michael accepted the job at Otterbein College. YEAH!

Michael has a date set for his defense - 5/20/08. YEAH!

Michael graduates in August. YEAH!

We move to Ohio - the day after graduation. YEAH!

therefore, we must get the house ready to sell... packing up 50% of what we own, selling some furniture, taking the wallpaper down and painting the dining room - kitchen. Over the past 4 1/2 years, we've made other improvements... sprinkler, patio, floors (in all rooms), painted the interior, upgraded the plumbing fixtures througout, new fence etc.... We've made this a long term flip.

Jacob is doing awesome. His attitude is great and his teachers recommended him for the gifted and talented program. We will have his IQ test done next weekend. That will be great to take with us for Placement in OH schools.

Rachel is just rocking right along. She's crawling - eating - getting teeth - etc. She got 6 teeth all at once. It is no wonder her gnawing was excessive. Fortunately they are all through.

Work is work. I'm trying very hard to focus. I have some very large contracts and I don't want to burn any bridges. I have about 40 new customers that I am responsible for right now, in addition to my favorites that have been around a long time. I will always make time for them. I would like to have some special projects for a short while after we move, so I'm trying to position myself to hand off my customers and begin some internally beneficial projects - like building a wiki... I have 5 years of experience that I would hate to see walk out the door. It would be good for the department long term. AND it would help us in the short term. Then I will be a full time stay at home mom. The hardest - best job - I could ever have. We'll see what happens.
