Poseidon - not Neptune

Jacob studied the Greek gods in 2nd grade. Then he found Rick Riodan's The Lightning Thief, and that cemented it. He wanted to be Poseidon for Halloween. He had the most literate costume at the 3rd grade party. A sheet of foam, sea creature foam stickers and a re-purposed devil's pitch fork... a little gold spray paint and Bob's your uncle. We had a good time. Rachel was in the apartment sleeping. It was only 40 degrees outside for trick or treating. The very next night it was 60, but that's the way the candy crumbles. There is always next year.
